Daffodils and crocuses are blooming in my garden, the tulips are sprouting and I’m feeling this Spring weather.
As I walk through Westshore Town Centre every day I notice that each shop is continuing to get more and more Spring stock in, and I confess I’ve actually had to start leaving my wallet in my office when I go out now! That being said, my daily walks have given me a great opportunity to curate my Westshore wish list for the season. Disclaimer: my list is not all-encompassing, but here are just a few of things I am coveting right now:
From Ricki’s: Cut-Out Back Sharkbite Dress
I spied this dress weeks ago at Ricki’s and it’s been haunting me ever since. I’m a sucker for polka dots so of course I must have this.
From Ardene: Yellow Canvas Sneakers
Truthfully I’m a simple woman. I like red wine, chocolate chip cookies, walks by the ocean… and bright colours! I want to put these with a white summer dress and go to brunch on a patio somewhere.
From Carter’s: Floral Sateen Dress
Omigoodness could this dress be any more adorable??!! It could not. It comes in baby and toddler sizes and will be perfect the next time your little needs to dress up for an occasion. My kids are all far to big for this dress, but it’s staying firmly on my list of favourite things.
From La Vie en Rose: Cut-Out One Piece Swimsuit – lemon pattern
I think the tie at the front is super cute on this one piece, and I’m obsessed with the lemon pattern. There are mix and match options of tops and bottoms in the lemon pattern as well, and many of those are reversible – so bonus!
From Fairway Market: the Salad Bar
I know I’m late to the party on this, but the build-your-own-salad station at Fairway Market is a lifesaver! Lots of variety, cost effective and scrumptiously delicious. If I’m going to fit into that bathing suit above by the time summer comes, I’ll be visiting the Fairway Market salad bar a LOT this season.
From Shopper’s Drug Mart: Revlon ColourStay Ultimate Suede™ Lipstick
With a variety of colours, this is one of the best lipsticks I’ve found for easy application and long lasting colour. My go-to shade lately has been Supermodel.
From Noodle Box: Sukiyaki Beef Chow Mein
Delicious soy glazed beef, wok fried with chow mein noodles, shiitake mushrooms, fresh herbs, carrots, broccoli, garlic, onions, peppers & sprouts – so much yum in one bowl I can hardly stand it. Working at the Centre has been awesome when I’m not interested in cooking, lots of choices for take out!
From Signature BC Liquor Store: Hester Creek Selected Barrels Cabernet Merlot
This is a nice easy drinking wine (and affordable at $20!) that can be paired with either a steak or with your BFF and a catch up session. I’ve visited this winery in Oliver, BC twice now and was so pleased when I discovered I could find their wares in my local liquor store. Pro tip: it’s really nice with the Sukiyaki Beef Bowl mentioned above!
