Happy National Caesar Day!
Since you can’t head out to Original Joe’s or Romeo’s and have their mixologists whip you up their fave concoctions (but you can have your fave meal delivered to you from there!), for now we’re here to help you make your own special Caesar at home. Shout out to our friends at the Signature BC Liquor store and Mott’s Clamato Caesar, we’ve curated a variety of unbelievable Caesar recipes that will definitely spice up your day.
Let’s start out with the classic before we get too wild and crazy!
Classic Mott’s Clamato Caesar
Ingredients:
1 oz vodka
2 dashes hot sauce
3 grinds salt & pepper
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
4 oz Mott’s Clamato Original
How:
1. Rim a highball class with citrus and rimmer
2. Fill the glass with ice
3. Add ingredients in the order listed
4. Stir well and garnish
Pineapple Basil Caesar
Ingredients:⠀⠀⠀
4 1-inch (2.5 cm) chunks fresh pineapple⠀⠀⠀
4 fresh basil leaves, torn up⠀⠀⠀
2 dashes jalapeño hot sauce⠀⠀⠀
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce⠀⠀⠀
5 grinds fresh cracked black pepper⠀⠀⠀
1 oz (30 mL) 100% blue agave tequila⠀⠀⠀
4 oz (120 mL) Mott’s Clamato Cocktail ⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
How:⠀⠀⠀
1. Rim the glass with cracked salt and black pepper
2. In a mixing glass, muddle everything but the tequila and Mott’s Clamato Cocktail
3. Add the tequila and Mott’s Clamato Cocktail, and stir well to mix and spread the flavours around
4. Rim a highball glass and fill to the top with ice
5. Strain the mixture into the highball glass, and garnish with skewed pineapple chunks dipped in the rimmer and fresh basil leaves
Cucumber Infused Caesar
Ingredients:⠀
4 slices cucumber⠀
2 dashes Tabasco pepper sauce⠀
3 grinds fresh cracked salt and black pepper⠀
1 oz (30 mL) gin⠀
4 oz (120 mL) Mott’s Clamato Cocktail⠀
Cucumber slice to garnish⠀
Fresh cracked salt and black pepper to garnish⠀ ⠀
How:⠀
1. In a mixing glass, muddle everything but the gin and Mott’s Clamato Cocktail
2. Add the gin and Mott’s Clamato Cocktail, and stir well to mix and spread the flavours around
3. Rim a highball glass and fill to the top with ice
4. Strain the mixture into the highball glass
5. Garnish with a cucumber slice and some freshly cracked salt and black pepper
West Coast Caesar
Ingredients:⠀⠀
1 oz (30 mL) gin (preferably distilled in British Columbia)⠀⠀
½ barspoon Sriracha hot sauce⠀⠀
½ barspoon oyster sauce⠀⠀
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce⠀⠀
3 grinds fresh cracked salt and black pepper⠀⠀
4 oz (120 mL) Mott’s Clamato Cocktail⠀ ⠀⠀

Rim: Fresh cracked salt and black pepper with Chinese five spice powder⠀⠀
Garnish: Plate of fresh BC oysters⠀ ⠀⠀

How:⠀⠀
1. Rim a highball glass with citrus and rimmer
2. Fill the glass to the top with ice
3. Add the ingredients in the order listed
4. Stir well to mix the cocktail, and garnish
Hot Pickle Caesar
Ingredients:⠀
1 oz (30 mL) vodka 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce⠀
2 dashes hot sauce⠀
3 pinches celery salt⠀
½ barspoon extra-hot horseradish⠀
½ oz (15 mL) pickle brine⠀
4 oz (120 mL) Mott’s Clamato Cocktail⠀ ⠀
Rim: Celery salt or Mott’s Clamato Rimmer⠀
Garnish: Dill pickle and cheese on a skewer⠀ ⠀
How:⠀
1. Rim a highball glass with citrus and rimmer
2. Fill the glass to the top with ice
3. Add the ingredients in the order listed
4. Stir well to mix the cocktail, and garnish
