Mahalo WTC Retailers!

We work with a great bunch of retailers here at Westshore Town Centre, and every year, we like to show them all how much we appreciate them.  For 2019, we decided to whisk them all away (sort of) to the Hawaiian Islands for a luau.  Although our original plan was to have the event outside in our parking lot, the weather on our planned day had other ideas.  Due to the crazy wind, we decided to move our luau indoors.

We were able to transform one of our empty retail units into a beautiful tropical setting complete with Hawaiian themed games (bowling for pineapples anyone?), virgin pina coladas served up at the tiki bar, and a full-on feast fit for King Kamehameha II himself.  Our ohana were greeted with a hearty aloha as they received they lei, which is customary when greeting guests, and were invited to take photos beside our incredible beach backdrop.

Along with music from local ukulele duo Jazzalele, our ohana were treated to a spectacular Polynesian dance show by Lilia’s Polynesian Dancers.  The dancers performed traditional dances from Tahiti, New Zealand and of course, Hawaii.  After the performance, our guests were invited to take part in a hula lesson!

A good time was had by all, and it was wonderful to see so many of our WTC friends in attendance.
