Seedy Workshop with Platinum Floral Designs
Enjoy an afternoon of all things seeds. This workshop is perfect for the beginner or intermediate gardener, and is great for the family to enjoy together. We’ll supply all the things you need to have a successful seed starting adventure, working with both vegetable seeds & unique and trendy flower seeds.
We’ll cover topics such as:
- how to compost
- soil health
- dampening off
- hardening off
- seed care, fertilizing, pinching and more
- take home hand out covering all the how to’s
- question period
Take home 44 seeds of your choosing in your very own tray greenhouse, we’ll have a large array of options to choose from ie. chocolate lace, sweet peas, heirloom tomato, strawflower and more
This workshop is also suited to children ages 8 years and older accompanied by an adult. Let’s get the next generation excited about growing!
Cost is per seat.
Westshore Town Centre is located at 2945 Jacklin Road in Langford. The workshop space is inside the shopping centre near Dollarama.
